Is the BlackBerry still stylish?

There was a time, not so long ago, when everyone who was everyone carried around a BlackBerry. It was an essential status symbol for celebrities and media superstars. Back in 2007 Geek Sugar ran a slideshow of celebrity BlackBerry sightings, and a year later a site by the same name popped up. Since then it seems that many of the Hollywood elite have switch to the iPhone. Does that render the BlackBerry obsolete? Or can it still be a stylish accessory?

Fashion trends come and go. Trends translate to me as fades, or what I call “phantom fashion”. I say this because certain trends start out with a bang, but quickly disappear. Let’s take Jeggings for example. Jeggings are jeans that fit like leggings, clever huh? I personally don’t care for them. Granted, they look great on some people, but to me, it’s lazy. Jeans are jeans; I expect a certain weight and fit. Denim should never resemble anything other than denim! But maybe I’m just old fashion? I should get with the times, right? I should at least give this trend a shot. How do bootylicious women, feel comfortable in pants that look “painted on”? Easily that’s how; it’s all about the styling.
