Shoes are considered accessories, meaning they’re chosen to complement clothing. But sometimes I run across shoes that are more than just accessories, and warrant having an outfit built around them. Maybe it’s just an unusual design, a gorgeous color, or some other little touch that makes the shoes worth buying, even if they don’t already go with anything I own. I think these Tracy Reese d’Orsay slingback pumps fall into this category. I’d wear them alone if it didn’t mean getting arrested.
