This is the coolest purse this side of Hollywood…if I were a 10-year old child star going to my first red carpet walk.
I know that Vivienne Westwood isn’t known for being subtle with her design choices, but a metallic blue kid’s purse – come on Vivienne, are you having a Michael Jackson moment?
This Chatelaine Orb clutch looks exactly like a sea foam blue UFO with a Celtic Cross on its roof. It really does look like one of those novelty wallets that kids buy…in fact I think I might have a strawberry shortcake novelty wallet in my closet…it’s my daughters but I might be able to get away with it!
This airy green/blue metallic orb pouch is covered in soft calf leather with antique brass stud details, a fabric lining with more orbs of course – oh and a dangling zipper pull, with you guessed it, more orbs.
This tiny little clutch really isn’t for anything but making a statement. It really isn’t large enough to hold any more than a few flat dollar bills – make it a wad of bills and suddenly your orb will be misshapen. This whole orb fascination of Westwood’s makes me think she might just be harboring some other worldly desires that have not place in her designs. It’s either that or they’re just so fashion forward that we’ll be wearing them in 2025 when we have micro-chips implanted in our brains and have no more use for cell phones, car keys, gum, paper money or plastic identification.
The Vivienne Westwood Chatelaine orb clutch is $215 at Diabro.com.

Equally whimsical and a little less childish, this Amici Accessories Strawberry Shortcake
Clutch is just $28 at ebags.com.

The cutest purse of them all has to be the Betsey Johnson Candy Shop Small Clutch for $110 at Endless.com.
