I’ve made no secret of my love for Kate Spade. She’s ever so dreamy. Well, her designs are anyway. Yeah, she makes nice shoes and jewelry, and some of her clothes are classic and cute, too. But it’s her handbags that will always have my heart. All kinds of shapes, beautiful colors, some of which I may not otherwise consider. Like yellow. Yellow is one of those colors you really need to use sparingly, at least for accessories. A yellow sundress is nice, or a flouncy yellow blouse in the spring or summer. But yellow shoes and handbags have to be just the right shade or they’ll end up too bright, or even kind of dingy looking. This Kate Spade New York Darien Seasonal Small Flat Serena gets it right.
