There are a lot of fashion trends and styles that I find just baffling. UGG boots is one, especially when worn with shorts. That just makes people look like insane Eskimos. Those shoes that are hot right now that are a combination of platform sandals and boots? Yeah, I don’t get those. They’re hideous. If you’ve been wondering why you haven’t seen them on the blog, that’s why, although I may have to do a post about just how hideous they are. Picnic at Ascot Aegean Picnic Basket Tote for Four

Ok, let me just be honest and say I’m not that crazy about picnics. They’re usually a summer activity, so it’s hot out. You have food outside, which just attracts bugs. Food that’s supposed to be cool ends up being warm, and that includes beverages. Do I sound like a party pooper? Whatever. Sure, there are exceptions. A picnic on the beach is nice because you have the water nearby, so when you get too hot, you can just pop into the water to cool off. D&G Dolce & Gabbana Primetime Watch

I know I’ve mentioned before that I don’t wear a watch anymore. I just don’t see the point anymore since I carry a cell phone with me that automatically synchronizes with whatever cell tower I’m nearest. It updates automatically for daylight savings time. I don’t have to wind it, change it, or replace the battery. Sure, I have to charge my phone, but I’d do that anyway whether it had a clock on it or not. It’s also nearly impossible to not know what time it is at any given moment, anyway.

Let me preface the rest of this post by saying, if you’ve read my bio, you know I’m not in my twenties anymore, so if this makes me sound old fashioned, I really don’t give a crap. So, listen up, guys. You can wear a wedding ring, obviously. A watch, of course. Maybe, MAYBE an earring, or a pair of them, as long as the earring isn’t bigger than the ear lobe.

Ah, I just had a vacation, and now there’s a three-day weekend coming up. Why can’t it be like that all the time? Who was the genius who did that math? “Let’s see, there are seven days in a week…how ’bout we work five and only have two off?” Yeah, great. Thanks a lot. It makes so much more sense to me to work four and have three off, don’t you agree? I mean, let’s be honest. We all probably waste at least eight hours a week between chatting on Twitter, reading blogs, and screwing around on Facebook.
