Giuseppe Zanotti E90250 Jeweled Sandal

I love it when a few hot trends come together all in one great accessory. Orange was a hot color this past spring, and it still is for the summer. Thong sandals are always good for summer, but this year they’re especially trendy. And if they’re either metallic or have some sort of embellishment on them, or they have a tribal look to them? Jackpot! [click to continue…]

Giuseppe Zanotti E00029 Thong Sandal

I gotta tell ya, I’m not crazy about having stuff between my toes. I tolerate it when I’m getting a pedicure, but I don’t like the idea of walking around with a sandal strap stuck there, rubbing against a sensitive spot. Maybe it wouldn’t be so sensitive if I wore thong sandals more, but other than the discomfort, I just don’t like the way they look on my foot. See, I’m not one of those people who wears whatever’s popular regardless of how it looks. You know those people. The women who wear cap sleeves when their upper arms are as big around as their calves. [click to continue…]

We’re entering the last week of 2009, and it makes us want to reflect on times gone by. Why, it seems like just a few years ago, Charlie Sheen’s current significant other filed a restraining order against him. Or wait, was that 1996? No, no, it’s his current wife. It’s just so hard to keep up with the celebrity love stories. Those crazy kids. They grow up so quickly. Or don’t. Anyway, aside from the latest celebrinsanity, the end of the year and the fast approaching new one also means it’s time to party! Just don’t do it Charlie Sheen style with the hookers and the drugs, mkay? What you will need are some fab shoes to go with whatever chic outfit you’re wearing to ring in the new year, and you can never go wrong with Giuseppe Zanotti.

Most of us girls played dress up at one time or another when we were little. We’d imagine ourselves as princesses, all decked out in our moms’ fancy dresses and costume jewelry. Or, if we were enterprising, the real jewelry, and then we’d lose an earring down the sink drain while we were admiring our reflection in the bathroom mirror and get in big trouble afterward and not be allowed in our mom’s closet for weeks afterward. Come on, that can’t just be me. Anyway, we’re older now, and when we dress up, it’s in our own fancy clothes, but maybe we can still feel like princesses when we do. That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the Giuseppe Zanotti I96208 ballet flat.

Remember when I said there’s no other shoe out there like the fabulously gorgeous Christian Louboutin jeweled platform slingback I featured a few weeks ago? Well, there still isn’t. I mean, come on. Look at it. There will never be another shoe like that. Yeah, yeah, I know. Never say never. But right now, it doesn’t seem likely. And by the way, I’m still waiting for someone to offer to let me borrow those shoes. Seriously. Anyone? No? Fine. I may just have to settle for the Giuseppe Zanotti E96274 jeweled peep toe pump.

Giuseppe Zanotti Flat T-Strap Sandal

A little something about me—I’m not really a girly girl. I do love fashion, and I’m really into accessories like shoes and handbags. Obviously. But you’ll find me in jeans much more often than a skirt or dress. Granted, I don’t mean ripped up, paint spattered jeans. But I like putting a chic pair of skinny jeans together with a great platform sandal, or a nice bootleg jean with, well, boots. But every so often, something feminine and flowery will catch my eye and I’ll step out of character a bit, if I like it enough. That’s what happened with these Giuseppe Zanotti flat T-strap sandals.
