Remember that old fashion maxim that you’re not supposed to wear white after Labor Day? It’s crap. How was that ever supposed to work, anyway? If you look at a calendar as a circle, in that Labor Day eventually rolls around again, when were you supposed to be able to start wearing it again? Technically, any day that’s not Labor Day is after the Labor Day that preceded it. Anyway, white is one of my favorite colors to wear in winter. Other than providing great camouflage, it’s a great way to add some brightness or even sparkle to your wardrobe without overdoing it on the sequins. [click to continue…]

Check. This. Out. You know I like to find unusual stuff, and this definitely fits that category. I also thought it was sort of fitting with Halloween coming up this weekend. I mean, a purse with a ginormous safety pin attached to it is a little scary, right? Does it open? Does it detach? Can it be used as a weapon? To test that theory, try getting through airport security with it and see what happens. Also, it’s orange! You know, fall, pumpkins, candy corn. This handbag works on so many levels. If you’re a regular reader, you’re familiar with my newfound love for (possibly obsession with) the color orange. Now, along with cooler temperatures and warm, fuzzy sweaters, I have something else to look forward to this fall—more orange! Pumpkins, leaves, people who overdo the self-tanner. Seriously, when you start to look like an oompa-loompa, it’s time to put the tanner away. Please. Just stop. You look ridiculous. And it’s September! You don’t need to be tan anymore, and you never, ever need to be orange! Not unless you plan to work in a chocolate factory. Now, where was I? Oh yes, the good kind of orange. One look at this Bodhi The Frame Satchel, and I’m ready to rake some leaves! Ok, not really. But I do like the bag.
