I don’t know why, but Balenciaga sounds like the name of a place to me. Vacation? Oh yes, I’m going to Balenciaga, dahling. You just have to follow Balenciaga with dahling. It’s a rule. Ok, it’s a rule I just made up, but whatever. Maybe it’s because it sort of sounds like Valencia. Maybe it was supposed to be called Valencia, and somewhere along the way, someone misspoke, or coughed while they were relaying the name, and it ended up as Balenciaga. Balenciaga Giant Weekender

The weather’s warming up, which means it’s time to get out of the house! It’s nice to relax in the back yard, maybe take a day trip to the beach or an amusement park. But now’s also the time for weekend getaways. I know I can’t wait to drive down and visit my friend who lives just 20 minutes from the beach. And a few other friends and I are planning on renting a beach house over the next long weekend. I don’t want to be bogged down with luggage, so I’ve been looking for a good weekender bag. The first one I ran across was this Balenciaga Giant Weekender bag.

The fact that this purse was a yummy mint green and I just so happened to be craving mint chocolate chip ice cream, had me drooling over this Balenciaga The First handbag. Swathed in trademark distressed mint green, or rather as those oh-so-fashion-forward Italians purr, vert de menthe, this Balenciaga is no doubt delicious to behold—and hold. I never would have thought that antique brass would flatter a mint green hue. Actually, if you just told me about this bag without showing it to me, you’d probably end up with a slightly sicker hue of green all over your shoes. But Balenciaga makes it work.
